Senior Research Associate in Corpus-based Sociolinguistics

The ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science (CASS) is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Associate to work full time for 16 months on an ESRC-funded project ‘British National Corpus as a sociolinguistic dataset: Exploring individual and social variation’ (see http://cass.lancs.ac.uk/?page_id=2087 ).

The project will involve sociolinguistic analysis of the spoken part of the British National Corpus with particular attention to age as a sociolinguistic variable.
