The Centre for Translation Studies, the University of Leeds, UK, is inviting applications for the post of Research Fellow to work on a research project funded by the EU FP7 ICT programme.
You will be doing research on assessing the similarity of documents, sentences and terms across languages and evaluation of Statistical Machine Translation models derived from these data. You will have recently completed or is nearing completion of a PhD in computational linguistics or a similar field. Reading knowledge of Chinese is also desirable.
Salary: Grade 7 (£29,853 – £35,646 p.a)
