8th APC – 8-11 July 2015, Athens.
We are pleased to announce the 8th Athens Postgraduate Conference of the Faculty of Philology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Αs mentioned above, this is the 8th biennial consecutive conference, a well-established tradition, among postgraduate and PhD students, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
It is an effort of the Faculty’s postgraduate students to give the opportunity to their colleagues fromGreece,Europeor elsewhere to present their work and meet other fellow colleagues. Thus, PhD candidates could receive constructive feedback regarding their research while postgraduate students get the opportunity to present theirresearch in a friendly environment while enhancing their skills in the presentation of their work.
Moreover, the major benefit for all the Conference participants is that we all get a chance to interactwith the current international research trends, since it is us shaping these trends.
The main sections of this conference are, namely:
- Byzantine Philology
- Classical Philology
- Folkloristics
- Linguistics
- Medieval and Modern Greek Philology
Each department had specified the modules of each field in advance in order for the research range to be reduced.
